Kristie Barnett Sexton, Servant Leadership Pastor of Phoenix First Assembly serves along side her father, Pastor Tommy Barnett as they reach the community for Christ. Kristie’s love for the “local church” is evident in her leadership of APEX, a ministry focused on connecting and building relationships among our Phoenix First Family.
Kristie is an international speaker featured at conferences, community outreach, local churches and TV. As founder and leader of “Phoenix Girls” women’s ministry, Kristie has produced a growing weekly Bible study, Unleashed monthly special event nights and an annual women’s conference connecting women’s groups of other local churches to unite in building relationships through Christ.
Its Kristie’s hearts desire that God’s people would reach their full potential and be ALL that God has created them to be- to excel in their gifts and become passionate in the things of God. Her fresh, “real” style of teaching is full of encouragement and challenge to make the most of this life we’ve been given!
Kristie lives in Phoenix with her husband Kent and their three teenagers; Kent, Chantelle and Chase.
